Meh.

Not sure about this one. It seemed shoddy, compared to the other recent works. The animations and the humor seemed.... rushed.

This movie... is awesome. It takes Madness Combat, throws it in a bowl, adds water (which makes it expand in every concieveable way)(Just add water) tosses in a sizeable helping of metal and film noir style, mixes the hell out of it, and then serves it up with excellent art, excellent camera work (or whatever the hell you want to call it, there's no camera but you know what I mean. Non-Sidescrolling), and... err... I totally lost my train of thought. The voice acting was overall reasonable. Xero, in my humble opinion, did not sound right for the character. Everyone else sounded quite good. Omega's voice, however, was strangely awesome. It fit perfectly. The calm sort-of "I am going to fuckin' kill you and I am going to like it" voice.
Having said the only possible critism I can humanly think of, all can say is that this movie is awesome. It oozes epicness out of every pore.

Laughed so hard I fell out of my chair...

...hit my head on my desk...But I kept on laughing. Now this is an example of how excellent humor can overcome rather average animation and art quality (although it has DRAMATICALLY improved over your old stuff) I have to agree with pretty much of the things stated here.

But what the hell do you mean you don't usually reply to comments? Did you hit your head too? Or did you stop replying? I could have sworn you used to.

Very good

This is a fairly old game, but I never got around to saying anything about it. In comparison to its predesessors, this game is slickly presented, complex, and nice to look at. However it also REALLY. FRICKIN'. HARD. I mean, you can get through the levels fairly easily if you don't dawdle or explore but the combination of no bullet dropoff (enemies can hit you often before you know they're there(this was fix in the superb follow up 4) and the scarcity of medpacks/lack of regenerative health make this a difficult game to play. However both of these issues were fixed in the next one soooooo... yeah.... I just like reading my writing. There's no point to writing this review. I suck at art and drawing so this is all I got. Long, detailed reviews. But still.... Life is good.

Overhalled version of an already excellent RPG.

This, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of the best classic RPG's, on any platform, ever. Great writing (item descriptions, for one, are particuarily entertaining), the more streamlined timing system (Gears of War, anyone?), and nostolgic charm permiates the whole thing (Golden Sun/Breath of Fire). The story is rather clever in itself and has a faint touch of seriousness to it all (maybe a little more than faint.) Superb work. Well, I'm going to play it some more now....so....yeah....

Disappointment is such a dirty word...

...but that's the only way I can describe this. The lack of a "fast bullet" mode is almost criminal, there are way too few missions, allies are even more useless now that they are so annoying to select (Is that guy in the red beret a friendly or is it that guy that has the grey helmet? I mean, there's no else that looks like that on the map... oh wait. They just shot me.), no Fallout 2 references/homages, and there is no backwards compatibility with the other 3. There are a lot of good ideas in this one, like the ability to go prone, the ability to select allies individually (though this is marred by reasons stated above), the longer, multimap missions, and the quick grenade button. Its a shame it's brought down by such simple (but major) issues. I hope you can pull things together for another release.

This was... incredible. I can't say much other than this was awesome. I personally feel that this version is about equal with the Infernus version; this one has more of a... stripped down, simple feel to it. I kinda enjoy that, but Infernus is marginally better. Either way this is awesome. And by my standards, that isn't much to say.
